Had cruise control on my VW R32. It was nice having on occasion, but never really used it.

 

lmao ya im thinking that if you need cruise control the evo isn't the right car for you. imo after riding long distance on a sportbike holding your foot on a pedal isn't too rough

An option that no one really used, kinda like the sunroof......its just something to talk about since the Evo doesnt come with it.

If the Evos didnt come with cigarette lighter, we'll be talking about that

 

Many people have installed and used this unit. It works fine.

 

i know of a couple EVO's in the NW area that have installed cruise on their cars and it works great. one that I saw looked so good on the install that it looked factory! I have been trying to find a shop in my area that will install it to look that good!

 

Um... All the evos with the sun sound & leather package like mine have sunroofs so maybe that's a bad example.

Really? Besides the steering feel, the fact I could get a sun roof on the Evo was what kept me from looking more closely at an STi.

As an engineer Id love to see how much flex that sunroof adds, given its extra bracing. Better yet, Id love to see the average driver even notice.

You want to debate higher CG, I guess. But flex? Short of a circuit stye car in the hands of a professional driver, its not going to matter.

 

Just because you don't drive over 10 miles at a time doesn't mean it's not useful... Some of us don't like tickets and checking the speedo every 10 seconds. I drive 200 miles for my reserve weekend for the military, every month. CC is perfect for that.
