Well, I think I'm finally coming home. Back in 04 I bought an Evo VIII with the SSL package. I loved that car. So much fun to drive and for some reason I got the itch to sell the car for a 350Z. Since then I've owned an 06 GTO and curently an 07 S2K.

My friend has a silver 06 Evo IX SE 20K miles putting down over 400whp that he is ready to part with and I think I'm going to have to pick this one up.

The mods that I know of are:

Megan down pipe, buschur test pipe, ETS 3" intercooler, ETS LICP, ETS intake, Forge Diverter, Meth injection, Magnaflow muffler, mbc, Coswerth 272 cams

and any supporting mods like head studs, wideband O2, boost gauge, etc

I'm pretty excited about this as I've been thinking about getting back into a turbo car and this one pretty much has everything that I'd want done.

I've know this guy for years so I know how he treats his rides and we have similar taste as well so I trust it's in good condition.

 

I say go for it... You tasted it before... went out and tested others.. now its time to go back.

Yeah, I think I'm ready. The SE seems to be the best overall Evo out as well. It has the aluminum roof, BBS wheels, HID's, and tip like an MR but with the strong 5 speed gearbox.

I was out of the loop for a while as far as the evo community, but it seems like he's got all the right mods too. He's usually pretty good about researching before he just throws on parts.
