Ok first off do as much research as you can. You will quickly find that...
A) Your first "mod" should be the driver mod. In other words learn to drive your car. Learn it's limits, and learn to respect its power. 90% of the people on here skip this step and pay for it later/don't really know how good their car is in stock form.
B) When you do decide to up the power you will learn that the ECU is king. In other words, just adding a cat-back, or even a full turbo-back (3" dp, 3" HFC or TP, 3" cat-back) won't net you very much power, if any, at all. The ECU will "see" the increased flow and change the tune accordingly. An intake makes this much worse. So be prepared to get a tune as soon as you put your mods on in order to really maximize gains.
C) Don't get too caught up on names. A 3" SS pipe is a 3" SS pipe. While some companies might offer amazing prodcuts, Buschur, AMS, ETS, etc... many of their products are basically the same save for fitment and sound. Just find out what fits/is full 3" (in regards to exhaust). That being said, don't cheap out on everything. Stick to what is tried and true.
D) Keep up on basic matinence.
