Boost Leak Test

Long story short, i suspect i have a big boost leak somewhere. Made my own boost leak tester and connected it to the intake pipe (only removed the cone filter - 'aftermarket intake').

Found a small leak, fixed it. Still feel there is a leak somewhere that the boost leak tester is not detecting. Question is, is the boost leak test only done on the intake pipe area? 99% of boost leak tests i've saw in the forum start at the intake pipe area. HOWEVER, i saw one person doing a boost leak test from the throttle body hose. Either attaching the tester to the throttle body itself, or the TB hose.

Is this a way of finding other boost leaks? If so should i connect it to the throttle body itself or the TB hose?

I've searched and i know how to make a boost leak test and all, just surprised at the thread i read ..

thanks

You did the test correctly. Why do you feel you still have a leak?

I responded to your original thread. I doubt you have the throttle body seal leak. It wouldnt suddenly pop up and cause the problem you are having.

I've read that you can have leaks from the injector (not the injector itself but the housing or the rubber around it).

And since i changed my injectors, i may have damaged them somehow..
