I don't understand the point. There's absolutely no appeal of an Evo wagon to me.
because the evo wagon is still an evo but with some more practicality...

and the new sti looks like a ford focus

For the price to modify the sti to get anywhere near 500whp, you can build the evo wagon with 500whp and still carry more luggage/groceries in the back.

Same with the evos, IMO anti rally look
From what I understand, Subaru went with a 5 door layout for WRC.

If I had a wrecked evo I would definitely consider looking for a nice sportback and doing this. The ultimate sleeper. From the looks of it, the bumper and quarters are the parts that would be hard to get. Funny, looking for a pic if the rear i noticed this sportback has a US size plate. When I mounted my JDM rear, I had to alter the license plate bracket to mount my plate. I wonder if there is a factory bracket available for a us size plate on a JDM bumper.Hmmmm.

i don't like the evo wagon. ugly. i would actually go with a subie wagon before an evo wagon based on looks alone.

it would be the wifes ride anyway, not mine.

Afraid your wife may have a faster ride than you?

My bad, just saw the link to the review on the first page
I think would consider cutting one of those up to make it look like an evo, not the other way round

I think about this swap every month or so. There's one of those yeller wagons in my neighborhood and whenever I see it I start fantasizing ... If I had money to burn it would be such a fun project.

I'd grab one of the Evo IXs I keep reading about on this forum; you know, the ones that just suddenly leap off the road and hit a tree FOR NO REASON, and make the switch ... it would be such the awesome sleeper.
