when I put my tanabe dp on there wasnt a stock donut gasket on there, which told me my car was modified previously (along with the 2 step going to 6k) but it seemed to fit up there fine without it but I did order a donut gasket to put one because I think there should be one.

Yes, you use the doughnut gasket and the stock spring bolts with that downpipe. The gasket may be stuck to the o2 housing.

Tanabee is just like stock fittment.. donut allready sits on your stock o2 housing, and you use stock oem bolts, which has spring's on them.

I have the tanabe concept g, had the same question when I installed it. At first I had a leak at the gasket but was told that it should fit. I had to play with it a bit to get it too work. I think it was because I used the old one that was on the o2 housing. It may be a good idea to get a new gasket
