Well, I am in the market to purchase a EVO IX for a daily driver while I build my 350z but cant choose on a color since I havent seen many in person.
I live in TN, and the only colors I have seen are silver, grey, and red. My Z is black, so I definately dont want 2 black cars to keep up. From searching around online and seeing all the clean *** cars on this site, I have narrowed it down to Electric Blue or Wicked white. I havent gotten a chance to see either of these in person so its hard for me to make a blind decision.

Since there arent many for sale in my area I will most likely be buying one online and having it shipped to me, so I just wanted to get some opinions from you guys who have more than likely seen these in person more than a few times.

How is the electric blue with swirls, scratches, showing dirt, etc compared to the Wicked White?... Does it have alot of depth? What blue is it comparable to? like the 350z blue, civic SI blue, etc...

I love alot of the white EVO's I see on this site. Very clean, and looks good with a wide array of color schemes, wheels, lights, etc... Very versatile color, and looks good the majority of the time. But, Im somewhat scared of mitsu paint that is single stage, or lacks the depth of the metallic/pearl colors.

Basically Im torn between these two colors, anybody through there .2 cents out there

 

I would go with the Wicked White. I like the Blue but it's not always nice looking in certain lighting. white always looks good and I'm not biased because mine is Tarmac Black.

 

These were also the two colors i couldn't decide upon. Went with the blue just because i think it has more depth, looks really cool at night to and i really like the blue/black color combo. Just a really nice color in general. So far everyone told me i chose i perfect color.

 

I seen the blue i think its badass. Especially with gold rims

I was going to buy a white RS until they came out with the Electric Blue in 05. Look at both in person, but only you can decide.

Electric Blue all the way I have it on my 2008 and I love it, looks almost black at night and at day its really bright blue.

 

I like the electric blue ix because it seems like you don't see as many.

Can't go wrong with either colors, however the I don't see much of the electric blue. Good luck with your purchase!

 

EB my choice.


WW dosent shine too much, EB shines pretty good, but then WW is better with swirls and scratches etc.

 

WW all the way baby!!!.........goes with alot more exterior mods better i think. Plus easier to keep clean imo
