I did my serpentine belt today. It was pretty straight forward, but I think I did something not mentioned in the 'how to thread'. I was using my 1/2" drive to move the tensioner bracket but it would barely budge. I was afraid of damaging the aluminum so taking a guess, I loosened the 14mm nut on the bracket and it moved much easier. There was a lot of toque on that nut. I put the belt on and tightened the nut back down about as hard as I could. Everything seems good. Anyone else loosen that nut when they did their belt?
