its an evo...ppl no the cars to be fast....unless ur goin to race someone who has a bigger turbo and looks at urs and says u got nothing done...then there in for a surprise haah...but for the most part ppl no the cars to be sleak and fast

When I was at NOPI New England, I had one person ask, "What ET did you run today", where I replied, "12.3 with a broken transmission."

He was surprised at that time for a "stock" evo and even more surprised after I told him it had a Gt30R in it. Sleeper can mean many things, to me it is stock looking exterior and interior but makes big whp.

 

1- dewing, cover holes with color-matched vinyl overlays
2- debadge
3- black radiator paint on the fmic

 

place a sticker which says
"Tuner" I just met her!

 

stock body. stock rims. close to stock height. not too loud of an exhaust and not lopey cams = sleeper

 

LOL man I dont think of evo's as sleepers.. just cause they look so aggressive and have a big rep behind their name.

 

Any Evo= no sleeper

 

20g for power will keep up stock under hood look...sleeper look of exterior would be keeping stock wheels and ride height. the wing is up to you...as far as hiding a bigger front mount, thats where the difficulty lies. ams IC is shorter in length, but usually polished so anyone who knows a bit can tell. basically when people see an evo they know its at least pretty fast...a stock evo is quick but can be eaten by a decent v8 or a boosted honda..best advice would be to pick a good power setup so that whether ur sleepin or not ull stomp heads

 

RRE Stealth exhaust. Full 3", but looks stocker than stock.

 

slap in a v10 twin turbo

 

a couple of well hidden nitrous solenoids!

 

I think if u debadge a TB Evo and take the Wing off and put a quiet exhaust on it like RRE Stealth or a Magnaflow i think it could evade a lot of cops but thats just my opinion

 

Yeah, everyone seemed so hyped about it.. and I was wondering why.. then I see him pull up and does this RWD burnout.. and I was like WOAAA.. A t67 Supra pulls up, tree lights up.. and off they go.. I was like ****..!!

Went and checked it out in the pits.. who the hell knew.. 2JZ under the hood.. Guy was from Vegas.. went out to the StreetCar shootout in HI back in 04.. had plates 2..

Sleeper for sure..

Anyways I guess it depends where you reside..? Many ppl can tell an EVO a mile away in HI..!
