I'm bringing this one back to say the above mentioned muffler (short tip) worked out great. The snow is finally melting and the roads are clear enough to break the EVO out of storage. So, I tossed on the JDM rear and new muffler this week. I think it looks much much better than that half arsed crooked look. I butchered up the el' cheapo ebay exhaust I have and added two 90* bends to complete the project.



This is what the hack job looks like underneath. All the bends and welds are stainless but I am going to flat black the pipe from the muffler to the axle.



I put a total of $160 into the muffler and bends. It was well worth it. Surprisingly it didn't change the sound of the car much at all. I'm happy with the final outcome.

Greddy Evo2 exhaust... It looks good, makes good power, and quiet.

 

I don't need anymore suggestions..... I already bought and installed the magnaflow and its excellent.
