Get a IX turbo, drop in filter,mbc,fuel pump and a get a friend to flash it for free99

 

if ur EVO VIII is '03-04, then u need the following items:

1) 10.5 hotside- $200 or less if u shop around
2) intake. u didn't mention if u had one but i run a K&N drop-in in the factory airbox- $60 or less.
3) Walbro 255LPH fuel pump is a must have before any tuning can be done effectively- $90 or less.
4) Hallman MBC. there are cheaper Ebay options but these are solid $100 or less.
5) Boost Gauge. i got 1 off ebay for $17shipped-what u pay is up to u but a must have.
Worst case scenario from above u have spent $450. the rest of ur cash can now go towards a tune.

If u have an '05 EVO VIII, then skip step #1 bcuz ur car came with one...

GSC 272/272 cams not the s1's the older version

how much whp do you think that will be once installed and tuned at 22psi?

bigger hotside of the turbo...VIII had a 9.8

 

because they put tons of research into it and no bov will compare to it's partial throttle characteristics

not to mention it's actually a DIVERTER VALVE not a bov

 

anybody have these mods????? with numbers
