Just wondering what car mags do you guys read? I know there's not much material on the Evo out there yet...but what mag do you guys think will provide the most valuable info for the evo? I get Super Street subscription mainly because they do a lot of JDM coverage...but lately this magazine has been pretty trashy (dumb jokes n too little tech stuff, but still pretty good mag.) I'm thinkin about changing my subscription to Sport Compact Car which seems to be a little classier...what you guys think?

There are Japanese mags dedicated to the EVO. You might not be ablt to read it at least you can read the pix.

There are several good ones, but overall I'd have to say SCC for the Evo...

 

I agree, they have been doing more and more evo articles lately.

I'd say that all American publications are ****-poor on real technical articles for the entire sport compact market.

There are more articles about rims, body kits, and the whole "street image" bullcrap rather than actual down-and-dirty performance and tech.

The only relatively decent mag seems to be Turbo and High Tech... At least for up-to-date product information.

 

SCC is a good mag, but for really interesting info (but a pain to order parts), there is a British mag called, interestingly enough, EVO. It's a little expensive, but it's worth. I subscribe and I have about 3 years of issues. All the latest in Evos and other cool rides, especially ones we can't get here. Kinda cool.

 

Almost any magazine as of late has good info on the Evo due to it being one of the hottest sports cars in the US right now. I kind of perfer the off the mainstream coverage of Sport Compact Car, but things like Motor Trend and Road & Track have some good points as well.

Just watch some of the off the mainstream tuner magazines for some good info.
