I have a problem and would appreciate some help..

So i was driving around yesterday for work and everything was fine, absolutly nothing weird about it.. go out this morning and turn the key and all i here is a click and then a hum.. if you hold the key, which i old did once the hum gets louder. it almost sounds as if the starter is binded up on something. Things i tried already.. battery good even tried to use a jump box as a last ditch effort. tried to knock on the starter a little couldnt really get to it, man its a bit of a rough spot. but the car is an 06 and i didnt think a starter would go that fast.. any help in this area would be apprecitated because the last thing i want to do is bring it to the dealer.. Thanks, Jim

did you try push starting it? if it starts with a push, then your starter is bad.

With everything "they just replaced", they could have forgotten to tighten something down or messed something else up....take it back and have them check it out...my suggestion.
