Oh man, that sucks, but at least you're ok, I know someone about a year and a half ago with a new subie who hit a tree and lost his life up by that area, and again only a few min. from work...so it could always be worse, g/l with the insurance man.

aprecciate you guys corncerns. im kind of down because is my only car and i got connecting rods and other parts that were planned on being put on this coming summer. i just ordered a afr gauge two days ago so i could start tunning my car and stuff. but it happens

Sorry about your Evo. Just because our cars are awd dosen't mean that anybody can just hop in and drive like a rally driver. It is still a street driven car and will be vulnerable in snow. By all means I am not saying you were driving stupid, but I am just saying it happens to All cars. BTW, do you wanna sell your AFR gauge?

Sorry to hear the bad news... hopefully you didnt hit the divider too hard and you car is fixable.

If you take pics and post them here, can you show how well the front crash beam transferred the impact force to the front subframe (both sides)?

Just curious because there are those who say is doesnt help much above 5mph.

You mentioned you were towed. Was that from a flatbed or an actual tow truck?

this is why i drive a faded purple 1995 dodge intrepid with 220K miles and a busted rear door in the snow.

next time get yourself a beater, its worth the $500
