Pain in the Ass: Brackets for Non-OEM Recaro Seats

So my new seats arrived (Speedster CS) with the sliders. Recaro doesn't have brackets for the Evo so I bought a set from Wedge Engineering. Brought it home and discovered... it doesn't even fit properly. The holes don't line up and it's just lunacy that they use the word "engineering" in their name.

Hence, I need to find some other brackets that will fit. Since the Speedster CS has a bit of a rise built into it, it requires as flat a bracket as possible.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Anyone else have the same experience?

I bought some from wedge engineering also for my Recaro (Speed). Did you try installing the bracket to the floor of the car before putting the seat onto it?

I tried putting the seat and the bracket on at the same time and there was no way it would fit, then I tried it with just the bracket on the floor and it was able to fit.

That wouldn't matter. The holes don't line up. The tab for the seat belt also gets in the way. Overall, it's just badly made product.
