need a diagram

Hello, i'm building a 91 Isuzu impulse RS, but i have the turbo from an Evo 8. The turbo has two coolant lines going to it, so i'm kinda curious about how and where you plumb those lines.

Also - i hear that those coolant lines just cool off the turbo after driving it for a while. If i were to just get a turbo timer, can i just cap off those lines and be ok?

All in all, what would be the best advice in this situation?

I don't think they just cool it off at the end, Correct me if I am wrong somebody, but I think it flows coolant and oil while spooling. So I wouldnt cap them. I have the break down of the turbo setup, Not sure it will help you, but I guess it can start.

The Oil line runs straight into the front of the oil pan of an Evo 8, The coolant lines are alittle hard to explain, they run a weird way. I will check my manual to see if I have a better schematic. Keep in touch.

it helps a little bit - now that i know there's a pipe specifically meant for the cooling of the turbo.

i just need to know where the water pipe comes from and where it returns to the cooling system.

HOWEVER - i will state this..

on my particular car, there's supposed to be coolant lines that run to the throttlebody that help the car warm up faster. I know that the thermostat will be the primary part that will help the car warm up, so for now i bypassed the coolant to throttlebody and just made a direct connection to the coolant line. i have done plenty of research on this, so i know that bypassing the throttlebody will be ok.

my thoughts: run the hose from thermostat housing to turbo, and back into system..

thanks for your response!
