Everyone will tell you that you should get a Hallman Boost Controller. Just keep the Forge UNOS in mind also. I think it's a great MBC and the ratcheting action keeps the boost set just right.

As for the tune, you can either get an e-mail tune by someone reputable like Mellon, (if you have a laptop, Tactrix cable, Evoscan or Mitsulogger and ECUflash)or you could do a dyno or road tune depending on what shops you can get to.

Sounds like you'll be learning alot and enjoying your evo!

Hallman MBC, any wideband O2, Walbro fuel pump, then see my sig. $550 and you will be loving the new (and safe) power.

Search and you'll find a lot more opinions.

I agree with a Hallman MBC, I personally run one on my own car and it works great.

I don't agree with a Walbro or UICP as a next mod.

I would look at getting your manifold ported and an o2 housing. Those will give you the best gains.

After that I would then reccomend a Walbro, Intercooler and Piping. The stock fuel pump on the Evo IX's flows much better than Evo VIII so its not a mod needed asap.

As far as a tune, I can help you get the car custom tuned via email or if you'd like to take a 3 hour drive down to West Palm Beach I can give you a custom road tune.

PM me for details

Cheers!
