It's just someone putting any other body kit on...except that this one just so happens to mimic the X. People that opt to do this aren't necessarily trying to "be something they're not" -- they might just like the looks of the newer model but prefer the handling and performance of their current model.

 

I tell you haters what - I'LL keep my VIII with NO car note and spend a few thousand to make the front look as awesome as the X. YOU go out and get a X with a car note, and then spend the money to make it as fast as my VIII..

Yeah cuz we all know the older Evo's handle and perform much better than the new ones

 

i say if you go that route with that much front space, but a HUUUUGGGEEEE intercooler to fit in it!!!!!!!!

 

In this case...they do. At least IX > X. If you'd roll your eyes onto some of the performance stats instead of up in the air you'd know that.

true dont try to be something ur not. but i never knew that you could take our evos and make em look like the 10s. i just didnt c that much of a resemblance at all, so imo

it looks hott. what other way to keep EVO8/9 performance/handling with the aggressive grill of the EVO-X.
