0-60
Believe it or not, you would have a FASTER 0-60 time going up a slight uphill then on a flat surface or downhill.
Reason?
Because the turbo spools on load, not RPMS or throttle position like a SC, so with a slight incline, the turbo would spool faster and harder, netting faster times, I always wondered why my TSI AWD would take off on Miami Upramps, I searched and now I know why.

I think this is true, but the faster spool and the incline about balance one another out.

How did you guys launch your car and how did you shift? I tend to always mess up. My fastest time was only 6.9 seconds but did a very easy launch and smooth shifting. Can you tell me (1) how to launch and (2) how you shifted?

You need to hold the revs up at about 5000rpm and release the clutch and floor the gas at the same time. But don't pop the clutch because you'll bog. Just let out the clutch slowly (but not so slow that you start to burn it) untill you start to feel the car move and as soon as you feel that initial grab, floor the gas and release the clutch in one smooth syncronized move. Gas in and clutch out at the same time and same speed. Not the easiest thing to do, but also not impossible. With practice you'll get it.
