I flew to Rhode Island (from Chicago) and drove a car straight home (1,100 miles), consecutively.

I've done 6 or 7 round trips from S.C. to T.X. (~1200miles each way), 3 of which were in the Evo. Surprisingly, the recaro seats weren't that bad. After about 300 miles...my back gets numb anyways, so a soap box would have been a suitable seat at that point.

Also..I hate cruise control. Never like using it because it makes me complacent. I like to goose the throttle every couple of miles to keep me awake since I prefer to drive the 1200 miles in one 14-15 hour stint (thank god for Red Bull).

I Drove from tucson to Wa twice. Once was by myself and in one shot with a bunch of Amp energy drinks and some in & out i stocked up on through Cali. This was in my S2K and the one by myself I did in about 21 hrs. The last couple hours i had to do with the top down to stay awake, lol.

Planning a little 1000 mile loop, nothing as epic as the coast to coast. Did it twice, in a moving van, and once in a car. May do it again for fun, when retired and really bored.

Just over 2400 miles round trip. I drove from Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi to Lansdale, Pennsylvania and back. I was in the Marine Corps and was going home for Christmas. Drove a 1996 Nissan 200SX.

In my Evo I drove 1700 miles round trip to Georgia and back. The only time I wish I had cruise control in my Evo. I have a Pioneer AVIC D3 so my wife and were entertained with movies.

pa to atl. Only 2 things i will say, cruise control and a towel over the seats. Legs go numb after 300 miles, and cruise control. One of the 3 best things I put on my car.

for work pa to cali and back every week. for 4 months.

Arizona to CT took about 3 days but I was in no hurry, also was kind of pissed that my 06 SI got hit in a parking lot the first day of the trip so I was pissed the res of the way home with a messed up rear bumper and smashed tail lights. I cant wait to do the CT to AZ trip this July in the Evo

Chicago to Greensboro, NC a little over 800 mi- I found the evo on ebay, called the dealer, lined it up on Wed, flew to Chicago on Friday, signed papers and got on the road. I had my CDs, a crappy radar detector, and a change of clothes and the toiletries, just in case I got too tired. But it was so much fun driving that car, I didn't want to stop. West Virginia was fun and frightening at the same time. Twisty mountain roads, uneven concrete, and convenience store workers who's family trees didn't branch any (if at all). Made the whole trip in under 11 hours.
