6250 down 72 month. $430/mo

 

Sold my 1991 NSX for $25,000 and wrote a check for the 29k out the door with tax, tag, and title. I did have the NSX for about 6 years though.

 

Wow, i'd love to pay for a car outright..

I am 27 too almost 28. I got a good deal on the NSX and thank god it kept it's value. I paid 38k for the NSX so 13k loss in 5-6 years is not too bad. The key to this whole game is a big down payment and don't go 72 months because you have to buy the rate at that long. go 60mo max and if you can't do that WAIT or buy a crap car for 2k and save for a year. :-)

 

For a new car worth 30K more -- O yea.

 

I have a 30K loan for five years at 625/month (it isn't an Evo--but am looking to trade in).

 

2500 down, total for Evo 29K, leasing it though. 5yrs @ 499. Going to refinace soon, about a year or so.

280 every 3 mo. insurance

 

I got $16K in trade for my WRX and I made 1 payment of around $14K... The car was $29.968 plus tax & the other extra charges...

The insurance and tags are fairly high though... I'd say around $2500/ year...

 

My credit union has 7 year loans which is nuts IMHO but they are out there.
