I'm interested in this as well. On AMS' website it says the CF roof is 16lbs lighter than a standard roof. It seems like it should be so much more than that.

lol funny but this would not work, i had last year a lexan and it was duble sided taped with duck tape on top. when sun hit and then cool off it would warp off. need something way better.

Not gonna crack. Very strong and farily flexible. We have the AMS one on our car

Most racers in classes like Honda Challenge will revet on aluminum with selant. Not pretty, but does the job. Porsche 964/993 owners weld into new metal to complete Carrera RS clones (no sunroof). And yet another option s to make a mold out of your sunroof, and then remake it in fiberglass. Insert it in place, and either fabricate attachments to be removable, or finish it with body filler for a slick top

thanks for your thought, if i can not find a aluminum roof to replace i will go about getting a fiberglass insert. hopping i can do this soon.

for the roof replacement all i would do is rivit the new roof and then seal it with some kind of sealer. nothing crazy. just hope when i take the front and rear window off i do not brake them HEHE.

also does anyone know if the lancer rear window is the same as the evo rear window this way i do not have a hole in the glass for the rear wiper.

kind of dont want to go that route scared if they do that it will warp the roof and will look like crap. rather just eather have a inert to glue in and or a new roof. which i think a new roof would be the best bet.

Q: I honestly think this is the greatest product i've seen on ebay in a while. Honestly if i didn't have a sunroof i think i would buy two and make it look like my car was a T top..I think you should sell that as a seperate product as well....and if you do, give me a free one for the idea.
A: Thanks!
