Well we all might just want to get use to this site. It seems that no one in this country wants to have respect for other peoples stuff or other people really. I had a hit and run on my 2G Eclipse totaling over $2K. My eclipse had never been in an accident ever and of course they het the rear panel, the only one that can not be replaced. Then about 3 months ago I was at Giant and someone hit my Evo in the door, again hit and run. Funny thing is the cops are just as much of a POS os the person that hit you. For the Eclipse I knew who hit me and they would not do anything. There is no real rules stopping people from being a hit and run. I just wish I knew where they lived because paybacks are a b****!

A good crime scene investigator uses the same tape measure. How can you conclude these pictures are even in the same vicinity, if it is even you! We cannot tell due to your lackluster evidence depicting two different specimens of evidence.

But seriously, that does suck, and I feel for you man =(. More backup as to why I park 3 spaces away from the BACKOFTHELOT in any parking center. Also makes me seriously consider getting a garage spot for $3/day, esp since my roommate’s Z4 got paintballed. Sorry for you bro!

Sorry to hear that man I would be beyond pissed if that were me and I'm really surprised the cops won't do anything. There's your tax dollars hard at work

Had a hit in run at a parking garage in downtown Newark, NJ, I too, knew which car did it, I matched the scratches, the garage wouldn't own up to it, plus, a week ago after the H&R, one of my students caught one of the low life parking attendants racing my car with another customer's G35 in the lot. One of the older attendants confirmed it so I never parked there again and I let the owner of the G35 know what was happening. The G35 owner was not as civil as I was. What's the saying, paybacks are a B!@#$%

Anyway, when things like this occur, the first few days, you're in instant rage mode but after a few days, you realize there isn't much you can do. It just gave me an excuse to get a new front...CWEST

In the end, no one can escape Karma's great wrath.

My 2 cents...

There is no way that car hit you. Based on the damage on the accused car, It looks like the paint is scratched/scraped off by hitting a concrete wall or something...and not you car.

The evo's paint would not cause gashes like that on the car.

Sorry dude but thats not the culprit. I feel for you though...

ya cops dont do crap, I did a valet parking at the airport, came back and my car had been taken for a joy ride because it had 50miles extra on it. Cops said they cant do anything because i gave them the keys so noting illegal happend.
WTF isn't that called autotheft since I did not give them permission to drive it around other than their parking lot.
this is exactly why if anything happens like this to anyone, I advise you to beat the living daylights out of that person becuase taking legal action does not do anything. I know what I will do next time it happens to me.
take no prisoners!!!!!!!!!!

I never, ever, ever valet my car. I used to on my 1G back in the day (when running low 12's was fast) simply because I had the TMO ECU mod that would cause the car to hit fuel cut at 3500 RPM. It was funny to watch idiot valet parkers think they were going to drive the car hard, only to have the car fall on it's face and make them look like they don't know how to drive a stick.

Usually when I go out to a place that has valet, I'll have a drink or two, so there's no need for me to drive anyway. I've never even thought of valet parking at an airport. I guess I'm not important enough for that kind of thing. Then again, I'm not important enough for soneone to take my car on a 50 mile joyride, either.

No offense.
