i have put these wipers on 3 cars that we had. we had the best results with the evo and on the 325i, although, on both cars, there are a small spot at the end of the blade that it does come to contact with the glass. But it worked fine nonetheless, just shows how **** i am
on my gf's beetle, there's still a small spot where the blades don't come in contact with the glass (at the end of the blade), they also left a small splash in the middle after a full wipe motion. Overall i gave these wipers 8.5/10

I bought one of these for the driver side just for giggles and liked it so much I went back and bought the other. They are spendy when not on sale but it was a solid and safety oriented $40.

The Worst in Snow

After reading all of these positive reviews, I paid over $60 (Canadian) for a 22" set. It rained the next day and they were fine. The following day it snowed and I had the worst experience with them in 45 years of driving. The blade edge is very shallow and on every sweep of the windshield they collected snow and could not shake it off. At stop lights I would clean then off by hand and on the very next sweep they were clogged again leaving my windshield a mess. I could barely see. I took them off the following day and switched to AC Delco winter blades and drove 5 hours on the highway in winter conditions. These were fine. The Bosch can go back on next summer, but for winter driving, I have never experinced worse.

My car has had several different brands of wipers over the years (oem, michelin, rain-x, etc). Midwest winters seem to be especially hard on wiper blades and hardware. I caught a nice deal on Bosch Icon wipers at advance auto parts a while back and figured the reviews were good enough to try them out.

(It seems that almost every auto parts store has these on sale from time to time, so look for a sale to make the price comparable.)

First impression right out of the box, these are much easier to install than previous brands. Just lift the housing, slide in the wiper arm, and close it.

Second thing I noticed, it clears the glass very well and quietly!

Third thing I noticed, is that they clear the glass just as well in high wind winter storms on the highway as they do at a red light in light rain.

Final thing I like is that they seem to be holding up pretty well, but I want to reserve that part of the review until I have had them for at least a year or so.

I haven't had the same problems with snow that the previous post mentions, but maybe I need HUGE snow storm or something.

I had Bosch Icons on another car and they didn't last any longer than regular blade refills. They look nice and worked great when new but not much longevity for the price. Probably had them on 6 months which is what I get with lower priced blades. I just tried some Rain X weatherbeater blades on that car to see how they compare (http://www.rainx.com/Products/Wiper_.../Selector.aspx). So far they are performing well but I've had them on less than 2 weeks.

i just bought a set of the bosch icon wipers, and they are great. They are the only wipers I buy. I've used them for years on my eclipse. And they are 10 bucks off for a pair now at advance auto
