They'll go down, but not drastically. I dont think the majority of old evos will ever go under 14k.

(And when i say this, i mean the mass population, not these 160k+ motors)

Yes, they will go down eventually. But how much and how fast it will go down will ultimately be determined by the basic law of economics-if there are more being sold versus being sought after. It's similar to the current housing market.

I think the evo's will always hold their value better than your typical economy car; look at the older 3000gt vr4's, rx7's, etc. IMO i doubt evo's will drop below 10-12K for a LOOOOONG time. ....again; just my opinion. Not all cars hold their value- i had an 89 range rover that was first bought in the 60K range but i bought for 9K (it was only 8 years old) and sold a few years later for 7K. Most cars are not considered a good investment, but there are much WORSE investments than a new or used evo.

I think it all depends on how well the Evo X sells. I have yet to see one on the road and I know my closest dealership has them in so we will have to see. I think since the IX's were a one year only car, they may be worth a little more than the 03-05's. The X is starting to grow on me but I still feel a little sketchy about Dodge having a direct hand in it as well. Only time will tell what happens.
