nothing wrong with it, It would be cool if they put money into it and beat a high dollar sports car and say "you just got burned by a lancer, not an evo a lancer"hahhaha
serious people, the fact is everyone in the world try to be what they are not at least in a small way so to speak. take clothing for example, tons of people try to look like a celebrity or look alike. or buy that gold watch and look like a baller when in fact they are not. NOthing wrong with that, it makes you feel good and that is all that matters.

I feel that the Lancer is a separate car and should be treated as such. there are some nice styling options for the Lancer that don't try to make it look like an Evo and I prefer those looks.
However, if a Lancer owner wants his car to look more like an Evo, I'm fine with it. Though it is sort of odd to fix up your car to make it look like another car in it's stock form ...

If someone wants to make there car look a certain way, let them do it. Making a lancer look like an EVO is kind of funny, but not as funny as the kits that they sell to make the Fiero look like a Ferrari or a Lamborgini.

Dudes it's like this.... I'm a car freak...period point blank. If someone where to try to make their car like mine, I, would be flattered. Like the one guy said, "Not everyone can afford an EVO." It' just a damn car!! It's like when a guy has a 70 Malibu, and puts SS Chevelle stuff on the car, he's putting his own personal touches on it, whatever they may be. Let the guy be. As long as he likes it, I love it! Stop all the hating! Can't we all just get along?

It wouldn't bother me at all as long as they don't tell me that their Lancer handles better than the Evo.
