mods are in my sig. My car feels slow to me now and I want to get a tune but the car has 42,000 miles and I'm going to get aclutch too but not sure which one I should do first. I would have to do one than a month later do the other. what do you think evom?

I think that you should do the clutch then tune because what if the clutch slips on the dyno. Or you can also get a quick tune for the mods you have, which will not cost you much. Either way both of those issues need to be resolved.

If your current clutch isn't slipping yet get the tune first.

I second getting the tune first if the clutch isn't slipping. Let the old clutch take the abuse.

I agree. This is your stock clutch? Wow. Good job taking care of it. Well if you replaced it, you'd have to wait for it to break-in before you could get a tune (Even though many tuners say it is fine to make dynoruns on a brand new clutch).

IMHO, get the tune first and be easy on the clutch (minimum slipping and launching) until you can afford a replacement.

On stock clutch 42,000 miles never replaced still holds strong. . I just ordered a tactrix cable. gonna go with mellon for cost so I can get a clutch faster. Thanx for your input.

I think that's good advice...don't fix what isn't broke in this case. I ran my stock clutch up to 400awhp..never slipped during a pull, I just couldn't launch it hard.
