my first evo was a 03 ly evo. i saw only 1 05 ly evo for sale. they are pretty hard to find in that yr. what i would like to get my hands on is a ly 9. but too much money.

but definitely the most rare colored evo.

 

When I bought my evo in 2004, there was a yellow '04 in the showroom which I think was SSL. One of the employees ended up buying it while I was test driving the TB one.

 

Sorry for the very noob question, but I don't live in the USA anymore, so I don't really know the options available there...

What is the SSL package?

 

i dont think mistubishi made 2 many 05 lys because when i purchased mine the dealer said it was the only yellow they had received, and they had received quite a few evos. Also ssl is even more rare, everytime i see a yellow evo it's usually an 03 or 04 i'm the only 05 yellow evo in south fl that I know of

Yellow was not an available USDM OEM color for the IX.

 

i wasnt referring to the usdm evo. but if they made a yellow 9 in the states i would have it. lol

 

This was the closest I could find to buy:



had a full jdm IX conversion done in Cali; even down to a IX BOV that i didn't know about until after I had bought a used one and realized they were the same part #'s . Very well kept by previous owner.

 

I believe that there is no 05' yellow evo. yellow was only for 03/04 years. Don't know if I am correct or not.

eb 8's are rare and if you have a 05 mr your extra rare they only made 2500 05 mr i think
