Gasoline Fluctuation

Does anyone's fuel tank gauge seem to bounce around. Mine always seems to dip noticably lower when I idle for an exteneded amount of time aka waiting for someone outside their house. All the time ill look at my gas and Ill have a little over half a tank after idleing for a bit, and then ill drive for a bit and I'll have just under 3/4s of a tank. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else.

Yup happens to mine. When I start my car up in my driveway and let it warm up, it drops a bit. Then once I start driving it goes back up. It tends to move around a bit when I fly around corners. It doesn't really bother me, I chalk it up to the Evo having a small tank and the gauge may be very sensitive to small changes when the gas sloshes from side to side.

you are prob on or wer on a slope for a few seconds ie pulling out of a driveway e or heavy acceleration so the gas goes to one corner of the tank and the gas guage reads low. needle slowley goes gown then back up again,
