yeah an injury makes sense. It must have been a pretty bad injury though.

Yeah, an injury but its still doesnt make sense because the airbags didnt go off so i assumed that the car was parked

and +1 means they agree with the someones post

Maybe thats how he got 53,000, the airbags didn't go off when they were supposed to.

If the guy got $53,000, the car cost what $34,000-ish? That the most minor injury cost I can imagine.
Sounds like it was somebody else's fault, the evo driver claimed whiplash or something else minor, and got bought off by the insurance co.

If the car got sandwiched while sitting in a traffic jam the airbags won't go off because the inertia switches won't trigger.

 

Good job bringin her back. Luckily the frame wasn't bent.

the intercooler inlet tube was bent in and there obviously was a huge boost leak. so i taped it up with masking tape so i could some what limp it around the shop....it's fixed now- no more masking tape
