I would go with the 5 speed SE, you get the strong engine of the 5 speed plus the SE trim. The only thing you'll be missing out on with the MR SE is the 6 speed and gauges that come with the MR. The SE trim will cost a little more, but not as much if it was an MR with the SE package. I wouldn't necessarily say getting the SE will be cheaper than the MR. Although, on the other hand, the MR SE is pretty rare, and sometimes I think I should've jumped on that.

Read this, it should tell you why the 5 speed is stronger. Haha I would jump on the MR SE too simply because its hard to find. Hey we all gotta start somewhere right?
