Next step?

So i've had my IX for a few months now and im wondering what the next step is for me. So far it has the Buschur stage I on it with a custom tune ( im told from seller). So my plan as of now is to go to Lucas English and get a tune, it has about 37k on it so I want to save to do a clutch soon. As for minor stuff though, I want to do a fuel pump. What else do you guys think I should do after this? Im Planning on leaving it as a daily driver, and then hitting the road course a few times this summer. Lets here your guys input on where I should go from here.

Alcohol injection. The greatest bang for buck on a evo... Then a tune.

Its just a matter of how you word your search.I may use a search for lets say what is the best exhaust system and get 50 threads and you may use what is the best cat back exhaust and only get 20 threads.

How about maybe getting some cams if you don't already have some and maybe a lower intercooler pipe?I noticed a nice gain just from the ETS LICP.Hope that helps!

^ nice, i didnt even think about the LICP. With the cams im guessin if i decide to get some i should just wait to get a tune till after i get those installed? Also, i thought you wouldnt see big gains running diff cams if your on the stock turbo? Now when i do the fuel pump, is it an obvious difference from stock to the walbro? Im just wonderin if ill beable to tell if the previous owner has installed one.

You really don't need a FP just yet. The IX's fuel pump is more than adequate unless you pump up the power a lot. The most effective way to tell if the previous owner has installed a Walbro is by looking in the fuel tank under the back passenger seat.

With those same Stage1 BR mods and 24.8 psi my fuel pump was spent. A fuel pump is a very cheap and easy DIY safety mod, for under a 100 bucks its money well spent.

I would go with IC pipes, I like the BR UICP I have. Maf pipe, I have both a BR and an INJEN (with the injen in place until I switch to speed density). Cams would be a good upgrade, requires a bit more work than just the bolt on stuff though. Id say just open up the airflow for now, re-tune with that MBC and see if you want to add more after thats done.

Before you go racing etc you might want to check the rules on mods, like meth etc.

Last but not least.
I would see for sure if you have the actual stage1 BR kit. Here are the pieces according to their site. (It just read as if you were not sure).

# BR EVOLUTION AIR FILTER KIT
# BR EVOLUTION 3" STAINLESS STEEL DOWNPIPE
# 3" HIGHFLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER
# BR EVOLUTION 3" STAINLESS STEEL CATBACK W/ BR BULLET MUFFLER
# BR MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER
# BUSCHUR FLASH
# AUTOMETER 30-0-30 BOOST GAUGE
# COLUMN MOUNT GAUGE POD

You can tell if the car has a walbro 255 because you can hear the damn thing when the car is on.
