idle problem?

hi well i had bought a new fidanza clutch and i had the dealership install it...i get my car back and there is a lil chatter but i hear its normal...but is it normal for the idle to be lower before the install my idle was at 1 now it sits at 7-8..before i started the car and it barely started like it was bogging...and also when i come to a stop without down shifting it feels like its about to bog..is this normal?

They may have reset your ECU give it a few days it may relearn the idle.

1000 rpm is a little high believe it or not. usually cars run in the range of 750-850 @ idle. if it feels like it is bogging, maybe the clutch is adjusted too close? i would take it back to the shop if it doesn't get better soon. and go sooner than later so they will remember you. a little more detail of the problem would help too.

take it back to the dealer, they're the ones who did the install and they should have given you warranty on their labor.
