IMHO..... that color is so ugly.

but with a drop, and a set of new (black wheels) and a CF hood, it might look half way decent

Don't worry about us people. Get it if its in good condition and if it will make you very happy.

Disregarding the color, I think that price is reasonable for an SSL 05, and the mileage is good. My 05 MR has 28,600 miles with 3.5 years of use as a DD, so 23k is excellent.

If you like it, and it's in good condition, do it. IMO green and cf would look *****en!

My 2005 VIII SSL has close to 21,000 miles on it so this one is close with its low mileage. I say get it. You can always change the color.

You can probably tell by reading the information on the tag inside the driver's side door seam, or get the VIN and run it.

To check for modding, you'll just have to inspect it and look for common mods.

It was posted in the other "Lime Green Evo" thread that this car was originally Lightning Yellow. I do agree however that some CF, tint and wheels would do wonders for the car. It's all about imagination. Good luck

Forgetting that the color is hideous, my concern would be WHY the owner repainted a brand new car...has it been in an accident?
