I am doing my fluid changes on my transmission, transfer case, and rear diff tonight and I remember reading somewhere that I need to fill one of the 3 things I am changing up and then drive it for a few miles and then top it of again because the oil has to circulate or something. Can someone give me some insight on this and which component this is and what exactly to do to make sure I fill them all properly.

once a little fluid drips out the fill plug close it up

I highly doubt there are many people that check the fluid level

the key is having the car level
