Upsetting day :(
im the one who bought the car...i put the deposit on it saturday morning and while looking at the car for hours that day waiting for the financing to workout i saw the whole car was repainted and it looks like the person did it with a paint brush on his own...the car has a long story behind it the dealership isnt telling people the car was hit badly and not reported that is why the title is clear...and the 24995 they were asking is a scam to get action that morning on the car the real price was 29995 and i got them down to 26 today showing them all the problems scratches paint work dents broken front lip on the car etc...so i ended up backing out of the deal the car is not worth the money they were asking maybe the price they advertised but still it was a shady deal i knew i had to back out of....so their is the story on this evo o and it was at koepell mitsubishi in long island city

That sucks bro I know how that feels. It happened to me a few weeks ago. I found a really nice evo 8 modded like hell. it had a 50 trim turbo and tuned by jestrtuning down here in orlando. the guy wanted 19500 for it andi told him i will think about it over night and come back tomorrow. it sold the next morning before i went to go buy it. I got really pissed off but i guess it worked out ok cuz I just bought a NEW evo ix mr from don herring mitsubishi in TX. I dont know if anyone saw it but it was on ebay and the minute i saw it i called the dealership to buy it. It cost me 30k but i think it was worth it cuz it only had 1k dealer demo test miles and was still considered a new car.
They are selling an RS out here for 21K with 11K miles on it. I was looking at it, and in the posting they claim "it has the POWER THE EVO IS WORLD REKNOWNED FOR..." what they are neglecting to tell you is that it needs a new front diff, and a new clutch. Previous owner drove it like they stole it, hit a curb, broke the front lip and diff and the dealership doesn't want to pay to repair it. BUYER BEWARE - no warranty, and it doesnt even run atm.
Anybody in the market for an evo should call CBRD in York Pa..They have got several evo's(used) at their place..all with a little CBRD love applied to them (717) 751-2345 ask for Calib. Should be worth a call..and it's not a bad drive from NYC.
same thing happened to me 1 month ago. Always regretted selling my evo so finally i came to buying another one, only this time it had to be a ix. Looked on autotrader, found one i liked in my area. Called them that night and they had it still. Woke up in the morning and went to the dealer only to find out it sold 1 hr before. That one was a tb gsr w/ ssl. My gf said to me that it just wasnt meant to be...haha. Kept looking around for a couple weeks and get this pm from another member one night. Long story short..i'm now a owner of a ww ix mr, and i absolutely love it. 
^^damn u lucky..i m dying to find a ww..i went to check out a 05 silver mr..they want 27000 for it, which i think is too much and it was hit on the front fender. Overall car was clean but i think i m gonna look around a little more..I am going to c one this sunday and after that i will decide if anything..My mom & sis really likes the X but i don't know..not feeling the rear too much
