need input

well I'm thinking of getting rid of my evo. This past few months I've been thinking quite alot about going to college. I got the Evo when I was 17(I payed for everything not daddy) and I loved every minute of it, now my Evo 8 has 90k and I'm thiking if I sell it to a dealer I'll probably get around 13k for it. So I would pay up whatever I owe on the car(yeah I bought it used) and get out of that debt. I'm now 20yrs old want to go to school to get a 4yrs degree in forensic science. I would be bumed out getting rid of the Evo ,but I came to this, later on I can always get another Evo probably a better one. And if I become a forensic doctor I think I'll be even better economically, not I couldn't pay for the car before, but I dont want to wait untill I'm in my 30s to realise that I should have gone to school. So I would aprecciate your input.

Oh and probably get rid of the girlfriend too, she's another debt by itself.

thanks guys, yeah I just don't want to be stock doing something that I don't like for the rest of my life. And I think it would be easier to sacrifise some now then sacrifise a lot in the future.

Thats the thing I will be working full time or pretty close to. but in order to work a normal shift I have to get a 8hr job. Being that I my "specialty" is construction, whoever works construction knows that 8hr day are very rare and sometimes hours of comute. If I get a "crappy job" something thats enough to pay for gas and books. It would be easier if I get rid of the evo.

At least your giving up the evo for a good reason. Going to school and work is hard and its even harder when you have an expensive hobby like modding cars.

I'm 21, and in school for pharmacy (6 year program - 2 more years to go!) and driving a 5-Speed '03 OZ rally. Not close to an EVO by far, but it's not a beater neither. Its practical for a student and looks enough like an EVO so most girls cant tell the difference. Just get what you can for you EVO now, and like me, get a new one after graduation. I hoping for a 6-Speed MR Evo X if/when it comes out.

..............................

...... Let's see: I have 2 kids...... I'm married...... I love my Evo...... It makes me happy........ I have a decent job, and I just don't have 1/2 the money- to do or get the stuff I want...... I wish I had gone to school, so my suggestion......." GO TO SCHOOL!!!!"

Thank guy always supportive.
