Second clutch and only 2k miles? Jesus man , what the hell are you doing to that car?

Then again I can't say a damn thing. My first car was a Porsche 944 turbo at 16. I went through 4 trany's in 2 years and 4 sets of rear tires in 1 year so I'll shut up now.

(if I only knew then what I know now )

yo do yall think IF which i doubt but what IF mitsu did recall our clutches and we already replaced the clutch with a better one ... u think they would reinmburse us? i mean i kno the price diff is major but i could explain it this way.... " i had no choice but to buy an aftermarket clutch bcuz yall at mitsu finally realized that that shlt sucked and is not worth spending the money to get it installed just to replace it again so i went with a better clutch that was expensive as **** but in reality would be cheaper than buying 2 stock clutches + labor in the end

they wont give u **** back because they will say that you changed the clutch at your own will and that its not a item.....it you paid for anther stock clutch then there is a possiblity they might pay you back if it actualy becomes a recall but i doubt ...too much legal crap youll have to go through to get your money back....but with aftermarket item foeget it you stuck like chuck....its gonna take alot longer for them to make the clutch a recall if they even do decide to do it...they just might change the design for the 04 and not say a word....remember they will try to shaft you and keep it quiet just to save the money on calling back all they 03's to do the job...its a lot of money

Why are so many people having problems with the stock clutch?

Just don't burn it and it works fine.

I won't be convinced about this recall rubber boot until I get a "recall" letter from mitsu.

Maybe now that our cars are through Customs they are going to reprogram them to where they should be and they are using the recall as a disguise.

or.... they just want to inspect what mods were put into the car that the next time you go for a warranty service, they already have that mod list on the computer and may deny the work even though you have the stock parts back on there.

I was hoping for a clutch recall myself.

I've got 9700 miles on my stock one so far and no problems though. I've done a couple of 5k drops...but thats it.

I ain't doing anymore until I know for sure what the problem is with these clutch's.
