Car is up and running... need someone to tune this beast now

thanks for the kind words everyone... shipped off the intercooler to Adam at Devo Tuning, he's going to try and fix it, then overnight it back to get it up and running by this coming Tuesday... then off for some tuning and test and tune at the track on Weds. I don't expect to break any records anytime soon, I'm taking it slow, getting every small detail worked out and improve from there.
little update... drained the oil and didn't look so well...


back to square one, tore the car apart, found out the liquid to air intercooler had a leak in it. I'm hoping Devo Tuning can pull through and fix the intercooler quickly before tuning and track time next week. Will post updates as they come

So the only thing hurt was the I/C
The motor wasn't damaged at all? Hope not

Thanks, its not easy being a privateer. I haven't got any parts for free, it adds up quick when you keep changing setups, trying new things and to keep up with the faster guy. I do have to say that when no one wanted to help me out, or get involved due to shop drama or what not, Adam at Devo Tuning has been more than helpful and I do appreciate that.

it appears to be that way, I'm going to pull the pan, check out the bearings make sure everything is ok. This is a fresh built block, has about 15 min of run time. Last year before the fuel pump went it was running good, on the rich side but good. So I have a feeling the nasty oil was due to the water leak going past the rings. After I get the clutch changed out, going to start her up without the intercooler or lines hooked up, change out the oil again and see if the nasty oil condition has cleared up.

7's would be nice, but that's Shep league and some big shoes to fill, at this point I would be happy when it run's 9's again. There is a lot to do to even get to the 8's, and I respect all that have reached that plateau. I'm not one to make claims like "it should do .... in the 1/4" or "it should hit ..... on the dyno" I'd rather have that time slip in my hands, or big trophy next to my other's. But where it sits right now, car is nothing till it is complete, running, tuned, tested and at the track. I'm not going to stop till I get to that point... I took a week off or work so I can put full attention to getting it complete.
