Very Disapointed!!!!

So i am rebuidling my evo, and went with Bruce Titus "MIstsubishi Parts.net" for the evo 9 front bumper....bought the bumper wich was $629.92, not a bad deal. i come to get the bumper and notice things are missing

no front lip
no platic duct work or mesh grill

is it me or is that ushually what comes on a front bumper?

so i call and get a quote of $459.93 for the plastic parts!!!!!!!!!!!!

and $220.00 for the lip,

that makes the total about $1400.00 for a bumper, is that crazy or is it just me????

most dealer (OEM) parts are sold individually.

I think someone else had that same problem before and it ended up being pretty close to that cost with all the mesh and ducts and stuff. I would still send it back though.

Thats why OEM stuff is expensive. I bought an SE lip thru Russell, and it was $200-something just for that and 3 plastic reinforcing parts.

Also all OEM SE lips are pre-painted WW...So you'll have to paint it to match your bumper.

All this being said, I think Russell's prices are a lot better than most Mitsu parts dept. prices.

Russell is a stand up guy and I bought an OEM trunk for the wingless days from him because his price shipped was better than what the closest 3 dealerships quoted me if I was to go get it from any of them. If you'd have asked him instead of assuming the extra bits were included I am sure he would have told you up front. To the guy who posted before me... confirmed. However some aftermarket shops claim on their websites to sell them pre-painted "caugh..(gruppe)... caugh... (s)".

The people telling you to send it back don't know what they're talking about. It's your responsibility to know what you're ordering and to ask if you're unsure. The bumper cover is just that - the bumper cover alone. There is no time when one part number corresponds to more than one part, ever.
