silencer removal on exhaust???

silencer removal on exhaust???

just recieved my exhaust yesterday for my 06 IX mr going to install it to day but would ike to remove the silncer whats the easist way with out messen up the inside of my exhaust. exhaust is the trust PE Ti-R. or oes that exhaust even come with a silncer. look at pics its the black thing inside exhausut which i beleive is the silncer

I don't know if that is indeed a silencer but if u took that out it would be louder that's for sure

are those screws on the exhaust tip?
if so try to remove them and see if the thing that looks like a silencer comes ouyt

Kinda looks like some weird filter, just unscrew it and try to take it out.

Aren't you choking your Evo with that silencer on?? I mean, might as well keep it stock. It's like you have a lot of air in but can only let so much out.... what good does it do for the performance?

ya those are screws ma buddy has one on his s2k and those three screws hold the silencer in place.

Yea there's 3 alan bolts there I took em out buts really hard to take out just wanna know if there's like some kinda method to take it out easily

I have the greddy ti-c exhaust... remove the allen bolts get something semi straight with a hoook at the end and pull your life away. I ended up backing up and tying a tow strap to my truck and slow walking it out that way...i couldnt get it out any other way

Yea I was gonna try something like dat but wanted to make sure before I tried dat it is indeed the silncer thanks again every one for the usefull info.
