How desperate are some Evo owners?

 

I still cant believe that, that was one planned endeavor that's for sure. I doubt it was stolen to go in a wrecked Evo, because typically insurance would cover that, and if you have an Evo with no insurance, your asking for it. I would bet someone just had mitsubishi diagnose a bad ACD pump and couldnt afford the repair. I dont think they stole it to sell on Craigslist or whatnot. Your better off finding your local evo owner and have a friend "casually" walk by and start asking him about his car/mods/repairs ect.... We all know that we love to talk about our cars. Have your friend start off with the "That's a nice subaru" line. That always gets an Evo owner chatting. GL

Oh, search Myspace for keywords "Evo ect." around your Zip code, that should yield some results.

Damn. Deff a local evo owner, now you just need to ask around if someone was talking about a bad ACD pump... if so, you've hit the jackpot.

dude i cannot believe that happened. Thats just insane. its most likely like everyone said an evo owner however it could just be a knowledgeable person who knows the value of that pump. Good luck with everything and i hope you find out who did this to you. It just makes me sick when i hear stories of some scumbag that has nothing better to do then steal parts off our cars

 

Wow, this is horrible to see, this is most definitely someone in the community.

As far as a new one goes, I'd give Adam at Devo a ring. He's always got tons of Evo parts lying around and may be able to help you out.

That is bull ****. This happened in Park Ridge? There are some shady mother ****ers out there. Be sure to check out the other local sites for some leads too. mwe.com and chitown too.

go on mitsubishiparts.net they are a vendor on this forum, their price are much better than dealer parts dept.

with car like an EVO, you really should park in nice neighborhood with a garage.
