i have a 2006 mitsu evo MR and put alot of mods in it! GT35R, Brian Crower Stroker, 4in intake, 3.5 exhaust, Stand alone AEM, 1000CC injectors, AEM Fuel system kit, HKS 272 CAM, you name it... but!!! i get this fuel sputter that makes the car disabled and i gotta pull over to the side of the road and get it towed... now... can it be the fuel lines ( electronically ) may have a malfunction? or the evacuation port isnt controlled by the AEM? what? has anyone else experienced this problem? I thought it was because i was burning too rich and fouling out the spark plugs but we disabled the AEM sensor..... some one talk to me?

 

This is probably not the best section to post this in. Try the engine management section or similar. The guys that frequent that section would be the most help.

 

I am not an AEM tuner but I would imagine that is where the problem lies. GL

 

the car could be running to rich and dying out....play with the timing and adjust fuel thats what happend to me when i was tuning my car but i didnt have to get it towed...but i only have bolt ons not 500hp haha
