I will find out Sat. on what they are gonna do.

I talked to a guy at work this morning that has the same insurance as me. They totaled his car then offered to sell it back for 20% of what they paid him for it. If they do that for me I will take it. But the bad thing is, if I let them total it, they will not cover it under full insurance. I'm sure others will, but not them. But I don't know about a rebuilt title either. Guess I will cross that road when I get there.

Well I guess it was not as bad as everybody was making it out to be. I washed it as good as a 20min (I was cold too) wash could make a dirty car look. I got a total of 8068.00 minus my 500 deductible. I don't see my windshield on there tho, so I go back here in a few with my other one and see what they say about that.

Is $7500 enough?

I'm guessing it'll come up short?

I will find out this weekend if 7500 is enough. The good thing is, my insurance said if they are short on anything, they will shoot out a check no questions asked. They have my body guy on there list so that will make it easier.

No its not totaled, not even close. But I was kinda wanting them too. Oh well.

I do know they put down 200 for a new windshield, called my local Mitsu place and they quoted me 490 for one.

How much is your body guy estimating? What panels did the ins. estimate would have to be replaced and could not be repaired?

I talk to tbe body guy about his part this sat.

they are replacing the hood, reskinning the roof, windsheild, the trunk and wing (wing didn't get damaged tho), and the pass side fender, along with all trim, windsheild wiper, and the light on the pass side fender, plus a few of the grills.

Well at least they are willing to work with you if you go over they limit. I am sure sunroof is on there too? Well now your car will probably look better than it did before, new paint FTW

They using all OEM parts cause it does sound alittle low. When I had a little incident where I cracked the lip on my Evo and scuffed the bumper they wrote a estimate for $3000.

Those parts just arent cheap and that looks like alot of parts and labor for $7500. I would compare everyline on the estimate they wrote with prices for the parts from your dealer and go back at them with the difference. If they start fixing the car and it should have been totaled then you will just be out of luck and your car will probably take a hit on resale no matter how good they do. Good luck with whatever happens!
