EGT question

My Tapped hole for my EGT probe got stripped out. So im going to have a bung welded where the old hole is. IS there any harm in welding it onto the manifold while the manifold is still on the car?

Make sure you ground the welder close to the welding spot. Id remove the computer also to be safe.
