Anybody went from test-pipe to HFC or vise versa?

Just doing some research to figure out if I want to switch from a test-pipe to a HFC. I know I would lose power but I'm curious about the exhaust noise change. So whoever made the switch from test-pipe to HFC or vise versa, did you noticed any decrease/increase in overall sound? Did it make a noticeable decrease/increase in exhaust note? Less/more droning? Did the cabin noise decrease/increase? As you can see, I'm curious about how the sound changed. Would like to decrease the inside cabin noise from my exhaust a bit. I'm currently running a Tanabe DP, RRE Rally Cat, and Tanabe Medallion Touring catback.

i went to a HFC from a test pipe. noise did change some especially in highway driving. it still loud lol but it made my exhaust alot more deeper. i went to a shop to get it dynoed and saw a difference of about 20whp on the midrange using the testpipe compared to the perrien HFC. my peak number didnt change.
