I'm looking at a $28K offer from a dealer at this point.

I found 4 evo mr's on cars.com listing for $29k - $32k.

$28K sounds fair to me?

I'm considering selling my BLACK IX MR with only 2000 miles, what do you think i should price it at. I'm in original owner and the car is PERFECT w/ HKS intake, HKS BOV, HKS Exhaust carbon TI, HKS tt, MEGAN testpipe, Tanabe downpipe, INJECTORS, AEM B/C, H&R springs, VOLK TE37 time attack SEIBON EDITION 18x9 +28 offset, ECLIPSE indash DVD + NAVIGATION HDD+ IPOD AND BLUETOOTH, Focal speakers, body is perfectly stock not a scratch on the car. Garaged the whole time never touched rain or track, i have 5 cars so it doesn't get driven much. Really appreciate any suggestions, thanks guys

30K - 32K? I don't think so...Mods depreciate the value of a car. A stock car will go for way more than a modded one.

And just because the X is out now doesn't mean that the price of an IX is going to hit rock bottom. It's like the 2G --> 3G Eclipse switch all over again. The prices of IXs are going to spike a little bit because 1) they're not going to be made again and 2) it's the end of the 4G63 motor.

if he switches it back to stock , possible to be $30k
if he switches it back to stock and sell the parts too , above $30k in total

You could sell it privately for about $30k. So, it all comes down to whether or not the extra $2k in profit is worth it to you to sell it yourself

In NH, if you dont trade it in, I'd ask about 28500-29000, with a price in mind of 28,000 after negotiations, g/l man

I don't know what the tax laws are there, but here in Texas, the difference really isn't worth it to sell privately because you loose the tax break without your trade in.

EX - $35k new car with $28k trade in means you only pay sales tax on the difference, $7k. With no trade, you pay taxes on the full value of the car. IIRC, taxes are 6% here, so the extra $2k for a private sale is almost completely lost in additional taxes.

If your state allows it, you could do a private sale, but do what's known as an "in and out" with the dealer. You sell the car to the dealer who then sells it to the individual you want to sell to. It all happens at the same time, so the dealer doesn't get stuck with the car. A nice benefit is the individual can also use the dealer for financing which makes the dealer happy. Not all dealers will do this and most charge $300-$500 to do it.
