I have just purchased a FQ400 which comes with a motec ecu as standard. Drove it 300 miles home with no problems. Next day it wouldn't start. Imobiliser is off, fuel pump primes. But there is no spark or fuel going in. Coils + plugs are fine and there is power going to the coils. Really stuck and getting fed up Any ideas?

Sounds like immobilizer. Did you contact the previous seller?

 

ask what the previous has done to the evo?

 

ok i searched the site and i didn't find any answers to my problem. I have the same problem . my car won't start and i checked everything too and no fuel is coming up the lines... HELP !!!

 

sounds like the computer is not telling it to fire.

 

Mine was the cam sensor. Car wont's sync up when it's fooked. As soon as it was replaced i than had fule + spark.
