Maybe, I had the dealer install it last week as part of a deal for the car so I dont know how it works. Ill try and figure it out im sure if they can do it i can do it.

So whats the biggest difference with this arm rest? Height?

I have rostra. It only surges if I hit a big hill.

Yes the armrest is great, still doesnt beat the factory turbo. I actually dont know what year it came from. The car was pretty much stripped when I got it.

Dupli color paint.

I might have to go to the local "u pull it" places and see if there are any Lancers sitting in the yards.

The Ralliart one is pencil-thin too...I had no idea the ES ones were thicker.

A similar one came with the SSL IX that I have. I have not found a hidden compartment in the lid, though. Now I need to run out and see if there's one there. I seriously doubt it, but that would be so cool.

In any case, mine does open up, and it does have a nice leather-covered lid. Doesn't the regular Evo have a hinged lid?
