Well they screwed me (Mitsubishi), I took my car in to have them fix my leak from my front dif/transmission for the 3rd time They tell me they cant do it due to my mods. They blamed my exhaust for my dif leak. Yes I argued and told them they did it the last 2 times with the same mods. they said sorry Cant do it.

Called Mitsubishi corp. and they researched the ordeal and ended up saying yep your screwed and the dealership actually had to pay Mitsubishi corp back $800 for the 2 times they fixed my. So at least someone else got screwed. This sucks now because i cant trust the dealership now to fix it if i pay them...

 

Damn...thats $hitty!!! I wish you luck on your repair...There's no good shops around your area that can hook you up??

 

Im not real familiar with the area so im scared to take it somewhere else.

 

This is why you dont take it to the dealer ship with mods on. If it means that much to you, take a day to remove everything aftermarket. You knew it was coming.. but it does suck ***** that they are d!cks

 

Did you try bringing up the Magnusson Moss act? The dealer/manufacturer must prove that the aftermarket part is what caused the malfunction/problem.

I'm dealing with a dealer over my car as well, I brought up the Mag. Moss act and now they are starting to cooperate somewhat.
